Cancer as a public health problem in Peru, has evolved since the year 2000, towards a paradigm shift, with a comprehensive, integrated and integrative approach, in the prevention and control of the disease, and global health, facing in a the challenges of personalized and precision oncology, where the different elements are integrated into a health model that takes into account the social determinants of health, epidemiology based on risk factors, cancer as a molecular genetic disease, and the sociocultural phenomenon of signs and meanings constructed by society; resulting in the innovative Peruvian model of prevention and comprehensive cancer care based on evidence, known as the National Cancer Control Plan - "Plan Esperanza".
The master's program has a faculty of recognized national and international prestige, experts in oncology and university teaching, which guarantee the achievement of the objectives and expectations of the participants.
