We train specialists who can carry out teaching and research work in the Hispanic field and in international contexts, also trained to integrate into an expanding labor market such as the so-called language industries, focused on Spanish as an economic asset.

If you are interested in learning to:

  • Acquire specialized knowledge about the functioning of the current Spanish language, study its varieties (dialects, sociolects and registers) and the stages of its historical development
  • Know the movements, genres, authors and capital works of Spanish and Latin American Literature in their various historical periods.
  • Use techniques and strategies that enable correct and effective oral and written communication.
  • Use the means and resources provided by new technologies in different fields of philological, linguistic and literary studies
  • Achieve instrumental mastery of a second language and learn about its literary and cultural tradition, as well as begin using a third language.
