To be eligible to the SSE MBA program, you must have the following:
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • A minimum of five years' relevant professional experience.
  • A high level of proficiency in spoken and written English. A TOEFL or IELTS certificate is required unless English is your native language or you have studied for at least one academic year at university level on a full-time accredited program conducted in English.​​

Tuition fees

Citizens of an EU/EEA country or Switzerland are not required to pay tuition fees. Non-EU/EEA citizens are generally required to pay SEK 120,000 (USD 11,500) per academic year.

Sweden’s Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) offers five two-year Master programs taught in English:

Citizens of an EU/EEA country or Switzerland are not required to pay tuition fees. Non-EU/EEA citizens are generally required to pay SEK 180,000 (USD 17,500) per academic year.

Application requirements

The application requirements vary depending on the program, but they typically include

  1. a strong relevant Bachelor’s degree
  2. proof of proficiency in English (at least 7 points in the IELTS test or at least 100 points in the TOEFL iBT)
  3. GMAT Focus Edition (at least 555), GMAT Exam (at least 600), or a GRE (quantitative section: at least 155)
  4. and a  strong personal statement
