Psychology

S1 Psychology, Faculty of Psychology Education, State University of Malang started as a study program under the Department of Counseling and Psychology Guidance, Faculty of Education (FIP) Malang State University in 2000, Based on the decision of the Director General of Higher Education Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia, No.142 and renewed in 2007 Based on the decision of the Chancellor of UM np.141 of 2012 the Faculty of Psychology was established as an institutional organ of the State University of Malang with a psychology department in charge of 5 specializations:
(1) Educational Psychology
(2) Clinical Psychology
(3) Industrial and Organizational Psychology
(4) Developmental Psychology
(5) Social Psychology
S1 Psychology is a study program with a relatively high interest in prospective students. The composition of the competition to become a Psychology Department student in 2014 was at the 5th level after PGSD, MANAGEMENT, ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING and English.
Interest Prospective high school students are also supported by the community's need to increase the contribution of psychology to society by establishing educational internships (Practice Field Experience) at several institutions in various regions in Indonesia. This Apprenticeship Model is carried out in the 7th semester for 12,800 minutes (equivalent to 1.5 months).
