Skoltech offers 11 English-taught MSc programs:

MSc students are required to earn a total of 120 ECTS-credits throughout the duration of their program. This includes:
•36 compulsory and elective credits
•36 research and MSc thesis credits
•24 elective and project credits
•12 entrepreneurship and innovation credits
•12 industry immersion credits
All MSc students are required to take the unique intensive Innovation Workshop at the beginning of the program.
MSc students can choose to take the three-week elective term Independent Studies Period elective in January.
Skoltech prides itself on its MSc studies because:
•Each student conducts his or her own research as a final Master's project
•Students participate in an 8-week summer internship at the leading companies in the industry
•Skoltech supplements students’ academic training with intensive business courses that provide guidance on how to commercialize ideas and research findings
•Over a third of students participate in various academic mobility programs working as trainees or researchers at MIT, Harvard University, National University of Singapore, University of Calgary and other leading international universities
•Students can attend major international conferences, participate in science and student competitions and work on your own projects and initiatives.
•Skoltech MSc students are entitled to a monthly scholarship starting from 40,000 RUR (around 550 EUR) and health insurance. PhD students are entitled to a monthly scholarship starting from 75,000 RUR (around 1000 EUR) and health insurance.
Students can design their individual MSc learning plan and complement the compulsory set of disciplines by elective courses and projects from any field.
