Proceeding from the interest of the Ministry of Higher Education to expand the spread of university education in all regions of the Kingdom according to the lofty directions in this regard, the Faculty of Pharmacy in Rafha was established as one of the colleges of the Northern Border University in the year 1429 AH - 2009 AD and in view of the need of the city and its surrounding villages and deserts to increase opportunities education. The college includes the following scientific departments: Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Department of Clinical Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutics, Department of Pharmacognosy and Alternative Medicine, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Department of Basic Medical Sciences (under establishment). The college study consists of 6 years, starting with the preparatory year and ending with the internship year. The graduate obtains the degree of Doctor of Pharmacy.
