BA (Hons) Drama degree will explore the theory, history and social significance of drama and have lots of opportunities to create and perform in theatre productions in LJMU’s drama studio and all over the city. On top of this students will acquire practical skills in stage management and direction. This degree is 60% practical and 40% theory and this is reflected in the different assessments used for each module. Practical assessments could be in the form of presentations (performing in or directing a show, for example), painting a set or designing lights or costumes, writing a script, managing a production, or performing a stand-up set. Theoretical assessments could be exams, essays, seminar presentations, class tests, viva voces and portfolio work.
