Program in Audit and Financial Management is a Master’s Degree Program based on -latest state-regulated educational standards and - similar to international educational requirements that can help students to gain professional qualification. To satisfy these requirements the Program in Audit and Financial Management is designed similar to ACCA Program (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants - ACCA). • The mission of the Programme is to create values through the knowledge of auditing, financial management and management consulting. • The motto of the Programme is Leadership in Quality. The Program’s aim is to prepare high educated professionals in Auditing, Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting and Financial Management. Though the Program is respectively new (was started 2 years ago) it is very popular among students. The Program is supported by PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst&Young and KPMG. Basic languages for the Program are English and Russian. Some courses as Audit and Assurance, Financial Management, Financial Reporting are completely taught in English. • The Program also aims to help young professionals to prepare for ACCA exams and to get an internationally recognized certificate. During the Program students also visit companies to get practical experience in Managerial Accounting, Budgeting and Financial Management. Workshops in Audit, Controlling and Accounting by Professionals are held through the course. ACCA QUALIFICATION • CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT Students are awarded a Certificate of Achievement if they achieve a pass mark of 85% or above for individual passes in Papers F1, F2, F3 for paper based or computer based. • DIPLOMA IN ACCOUNTING AND BUSINESS Students are awarded the Diploma in Accounting and Business when they have successfully completed Papers F1, F2 and F3 (at least one of which must have been sat and passed on or after December 2011), plus completion of Foundations in Professionalism. Students who obtain full exemptions will not be awarded the Certificate. • ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN ACCOUNTING AND BUSINESS Students are awarded the Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business when they have successfully completed (either passed or exempt) Papers F4-F9. At least two of these papers must have been sat and passed; one of these passes must have been achieved on or after June 2011 exam session. The Professional Ethics module must also have been completed. Students who obtain full exemptions will not be awarded the Certificate. • PROFESSIONAL LEVEL CERTIFICATE Students are awarded a Professional Level Certificate when they have successfully completed all of the exams in the Professional level of the ACCA Qualification (P1–P3 and any two of the Options papers from P4, P5, P6 and P7).

Upon completing Preparatory School, students are expected to be ready to enter the Russian-taught full-degree programs at KFU and other Russian institutions of higher education.

Russia’s Kazan Federal University (KFU) offers a great number of master’s degrees and doctoral programs, including:

Master’s degree programs at KFU require two years of full-time study and the duration of PhD programs is 3 years of full-time study.

Admission requirements for master’s degree

To be eligible for a master’s degree program at Kazan Federal University, you must:

1. Have completed a bachelor's degree (or specialist diploma);

2. Prove your Russian language proficiency (minimum TORFL-2) – if the program is taught in Russian;

3. Pass the entrance examination, which features a Russian language test and a test in basic subject relevant to the academic field chosen.

Admission requirements for doctoral programs

In Russia the doctoral degree system is two-tier: First doctoral degree (“Candidate of Science in …”) and Second doctoral degree (“Doctor of Science in …”).

Admissions for first doctoral degree:

    Specialist diploma or a master’s degree;Russian language proficiency (min torfl-2).

Studies last 3 years and they prepare students for research and professorial activities. Students must acquire skills in teaching methods and information technology, and pass qualifying exams in foreign language, history of sciences and in specialization. The program includes independent research as well as preparation and public defense of a thesis. After graduation students get diploma of a researcher and after preparation and public defense of the thesis, the candidate is awarded the first doctoral degree (“Candidate of Science”).

Second doctoral degree is an individual program with no fixed duration. It follows the degree “Candidate of Science”. After advanced research, preparation and public defense of the thesis, the candidate is awarded the second doctoral degree (“Doctor of Science”).
