GMU offers 12-undergraduate programs accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation, Ministry of Education, in the field of Medical and Health Sciences.
Various undergraduate programs offered by the 6-GMU colleges are described below:
College of Medicine offers the Undergraduate Programs including Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences (BBMS) and Associate Degree in Preclinical Sciences (ADPCS). Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences (BBMS) program is internationally accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS), United Kingdom. The MBBS program is a competency-based, integrated curriculum with the educational objectives expressed as competencies. The MBBS program is Internationally Accredited by the WFME (World Federation for Medical Education) and became the first in the UAE and Gulf Region to be Accredited Based on the ‘World Federation of Medical Education’ Standards. This helps our graduates to meet ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) and ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education) requirements.
The teaching pedagogies used in the MBBS program include Student-led Seminars (SLS), Problem-based Learning (PBL), Team-based Learning (TBL), Virtual-patient Learning (VPL). Early clinical exposure is the highlight of all GMU Programs.
College of Dentistry offers Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) program. It is an undergraduate competency-based program with an integrated learning experience. The standards and program goals are aligned with those identified by the American Dental Association (ADA) and Associate of Dental Education in Europe (ADEE).
The College of Pharmacy offers Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) entry-to-practice undergraduate degree program. The program is first in UAE in acquiring international certification from ACPE (Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education).  
College of Health Sciences is committed for molding knowledgeable, competent and ethical Health Professionals of tomorrow, sensitive to the cultural and community needs. Physical Therapy, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Imaging Sciences, as well as Anesthesia Technology are the programs offered at the College of Health Sciences.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) of the College of Nursing prepares professional nurses who deliver the highest quality patient care guided by ethics, research, and innovation.
The College of Healthcare Management and Economics (CoHME) produces the next generation leaders in healthcare management and offers Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management and Economics. It is an Organizational Member of The European Health Management Association. It allows GMU to maintain its differentiation strategy to fill the acute shortage of healthcare management professionals.
