B.SC. PHYSICS / B.SC. PHYSICS (HONS./ BY RESEARCH)

B.Sc. Physics mainly consists of experimental and theoretical topics from Physics. It also includes interdisciplinary learning of subjects like Mathematics, Computer Science, and Chemistry. Moreover, GLA University offers B.Sc. Physics (Hons./ By Research) with an additional year dedicated to research projects. It is aligned with the New Education Policy (NEP).

The program is centred on fundamental topics of Physics and modern concepts, including Quantum Mechanics, Damped & Forced Harmonic Motion, Thermal Radiation, Polarization, etc. After completing this program, students gain a strong foothold in modern and classical physics. In addition, the course aims at imparting holistic learning to the students by providing high-end research facilities and state-of-the-art physics labs. In the labs, the faculty emphasizes practical sessions about lab equipment fabrication.
