The MSc in Applied Data Science is a response to the recent demand for business savvy data scientists with the collaborative skills to match. Students will gain hands-on experience in solving real-world data science problems with the School’s prominent industry partners, including Commerzbank and PwC, and will be equipped with the technical skills, business domain knowledge, and critical judgment to navigate the modern data ecosystem. This programme covers data science and machine learning concepts, as well as the art and science of problem decomposition and solving. By covering these topics, students can identify business needs and wants, as well as problems, and propose relevant solutions using machine learning tools and by applying sophisticated statistical techniques. To do this, they will collect, transform and visualize data, create data models, as well as run predictions and simulations.

First university degree (Bachelor or Diploma) of at least 180 ECTS credits, preferably in a quantitative field

Excellent written and spoken English skills (TOEFL - 90 iBT, / IELTS 7.0 or equivalent)

GMAT/GRE score or  Frankfurt School Admission Test /BT Methods Test

If your secondary school leaving certificate does not meet the requirements for direct entry into German university set forth by the Ministry of Education, you have the opportunity to apply to our Pre-University Foundation Programme. Upon successful completion of the foundation course, you will be eligible to pursue your bachelor’s degree at Frankfurt School.
