Admission Requirements

The eligibility criteria for the admission to the program are defined as follows: a) a person with a bachelor’s degree or an academic degree equal to it, who is enrolled on the basis of the results of the Common Master’s Exam ; b) on the basis of internal/external mobility; or c) without passing the Common Master’s Exam in accordance with the rules established by the legislation of Georgia.

Additional requirements for admission to the European University master's degree program are: a) University Internal Exam in Specialty; and b) a proficiency exam in English at B2 level (“The Rule on determining student's language proficiency of European University”).  The topics of the university internal exam and the criteria for assessing the knowledge of the applicants will be posted on the University website (www.eu.edu.ge) at least three months in advance before the exam date. Applicants can prove English language proficiency by submitting a document certifying relevant level of English.

The right to enroll in the program without passing the Unified National Exams: a) persons who are authorized to be enrolled at the University without passing the Unified National Exams based on the Order №224/N of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia (December 29, 2011) “On the Approval of the Procedure for Submission and Review of Documents by Entrants/Master’s Degree Candidates/Students who have the Right to Study Without Passing the Unified National Exams/Common Master’s Exams in a Higher Education Institution”. Applicants are required to prove their Georgian language proficiency at B2 level in accordance with the rule of determining student's language competence of the European University. The following persons can also be enrolled in the program: students enrolled in accordance with the mobility rules based on the order of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia №10/N (February 4, 2010) - “Rules for Transfer from the Higher Education Institution to Other Higher Education Institution and Approval of Fees”.
