Description of the ENSB- Bouzaréah
Teacher Training College-Bouzaréah was established by the Executive Decree 84/206 of 18 August 1984; It is a public institution of an administrative nature under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It is known with its moral personality and financial independence. It has started its scientific and pedagogical activities since the beginning of the academic year 1991-1992 after obtaining a temporary residence at the Kharouba annex.
Despite its lack of facilities for teaching, the school was able to carry out the tasks entrusted to it in the field of pedagogical and scientific activity for 7 years. From the beginning of the 1998-1999 academic year, it has gotten its current location at 93 Ali Ramli Bouzareah Street, following the decision to transfer the technological institutes of education to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in 1998.
The ENSB location dates back to the French colonial era, where in 1860 steel building materials were constructed with geometric stones in the form of wings connected to each other in a semi-circle, forming the bulk of the real estate complex, constructed in the form of sections, workshops and administrative offices consisting of a basement, ground floor and first floor. The location also shows attachments to the old building, including a laboratory, a sports hall, a university residence and a residence built around 1970. Other annexes built in recent years, such as the school library, the laboratory headquarters and an amphitheater with classrooms, took into account the architectural nature of the school.
Within the framework of the General Higher Education Facility, the college carries out the functions of higher training, scientific research and technological development and in its field of specialization as follows:
-Ensure the training of qualified teachers.
-Teaching students research curricula and ensuring training through research and research.
-Contribute to the production, dissemination, acquisition and development of science and knowledge.
-Participation in continuous training.
-Ensure the training of trainers for the benefit of national education sector.
-Contribution to the national effort for scientific research and technological development
-Advancing science and technology.
-Valuing the results of scientific research and dissemination of scientific and technical information.
-Participation in the international scientific community in the exchange and enrichment of knowledge.

ENS-Bouzaréah Tasks :
Primary Trainig (stage 1) : is related to training teachers in literary subjects :Language and Arabic Literature, History and Geography, English Language, French Language, Philosophy and Amazigh Language. This is according to the Ministry’s of Education needs. Furthermore, the college also provides a distance training appointed to middle school teachers with the aim of self-development and their middle teaching license degree.
Continuous Traning : the college organizes training periods for the benefit of teachers in various specialities with the objective to provide them with the recent approaches and methods under the supervision of cognitively and pedagogically qualified university teachers.
Master Training (stage 2) :since 2016/2017, the college have initiated the Master training in the didactics of the various specialities :the Arabic language, the English language, the French language, history and philosophy.
Phd Trainig (stage 3) :since many years, the college has launched its phd trainig programme in the following specialities : Language and Arabic Literature, French Language and History.
