The MSc Ferrières Leadership and Innovation aims to train fulfilled individuals, competent executives and agile entrepreneurs in the field of hospitality, gastronomy, events and the management of luxury services. Ferrières is the only hotel management school to develop its programs through the prism of positive psychology. Positive education places the acquisition of behavioral skills and student well-being at the same level of importance as academic learning. This unique approach makes our students armed leaders for a constantly changing world who give meaning to their projects and their lives. Graduates of the Ferrières Masters will be able to self-manage and lead teams by demonstrating positivity and ethics and practicing coaching as a managerial method.

Ferrières is the preferred institution of hospitality professionals and offers a preparatory cycle of teaching that allows students to put into practice the fundamental techniques and practices for the luxury hospitality industry.
Ferrières offers a range of bachelor's degree programmes that meet the aspirations of students and the needs of the industry:
The Ferrières preparatory course provides a two-year common core programme. The first year teaches the operational fundamentals, soft skills and the capacity to implement the standard techniques and behaviours common to luxury companies. The second year builds the autonomy of students and their adaptability to any multicultural context.
Their bachelor’s degrees last three years and are designed for students to be ready for the workplace. Third-year students have their choice of major. The final year broaden students’ practical skills and allow them to perform better in operational positions and handle more duties within a team.
Candidates can apply online and provide the necessary documents. Following this, an interview is scheduled with the Ferrières Jury who evaluate candidates’ social and academic profile (for instance: motivation, dynamism, adaptability and determination) and their intellectual aptitude (analytical skills and foreign language proficiency).
Ferrières welcomes and offers specific support to students with disabilities throughout their university path. Their teams speak French and English are ready to offer support to international students during the application process. In fact, Ferrières’ courses have an international dimension with possibility of bachelor’s courses taught 100% in English, a study abroad programme, internship opportunities overseas and an MSc course with English as primary language. Tuition is €18,400 per year for three years, including the two-year preparatory cycle and one year of specialisation.

The Ferrières MSc is obtained in 18, 24 or 36 months depending various factors and study choices. The first semester focuses on core essentials for a future career regardless of specialisation, including a project with an international partner. The second semester consolidates student’s knowledge of and deepens their expertise in their chosen major. They will work on a final entrepreneurship project and academic research, with enough flexibility to take on four courses from other majors to expand their expertise.
Students can expect an average of 22 hours of weekly study from Monday to Thursday including classes, workshops and meetings. Outside of this around the same amount of time is expected on project work, associated activities and personal development, but this flexibility does allow for part-time work – particularly in a relevant industry.
