This part-time programme meets the requirements of the revised Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship Standard. Eligible organisations can use £14,000 of their Apprenticeship Levy to cover Part I of the programme tuition fee. Part II can be funded by your employer or you. The Senior Leader Apprenticeship+Management and Leadership MSc programme has been designed in two parts and is delivered in partnership with Grant Thornton. Part I provides a distinctive and collaborative learning experience, with intense and interactive classroom sessions. You will develop leadership and management capabilities enabling you to become a reflective and evidence-based leader of the future.
On successful completion of the taught modules, you are qualified to progress onto Part II, the Management and Leadership MSc, which enables you to cement your learning and complete a significant work-based project within your organisation.
You will benefit from a diverse student cohort and our faculty’s direct involvement with global businesses. On successful completion of Part I and Part II you will be awarded the Management and Leadership MSc and you’ll have a deep understanding of contemporary business issues and a capacity to assume active leadership roles.

Before an application is submitted for the Senior Leader Apprenticeship programme, you need to have approval from your employer. You have to be employed and your employer has to agree to provide you with the support and supervision to carry out your job role and your apprenticeship. It is a requirement of the Apprenticeship Funding Rules that you are working at least 50% of your contracted hours in England.
