This level 6 top-up programme leads to an honours degree and a Professional Counselling Supervision qualification. It is therefore only suitable for candidates who have an HE Level 5 professional qualification in Counselling. The degree offers 3 core modules which are, exploring group facilitation, producing a literature review essay on a research topic of your choice for independent study, and looking at prejudice, diversity and social issues within counselling. The remaining 3 modules address different aspects of counselling supervision, and it is the completion of these, that leads to the additional professional qualification as a Counsellor Supervisor.
