University (CSU) is a Level IV State University, the only in Caraga Region and
one out of four in Mindanao, based on the Commission on Higher Education’s SUC
Levelling. It has accomplished a milestone leap of catapulting itself from
Level II to Level IV and attributing this by its stellar performance in
research and linkages, along with its rich history of academic excellence.
The
University has two (2) campuses. Located
in Butuan City, the main campus offers agriculture and environmental studies,
engineering, forestry, education, information technology, arts, and sciences.
The CSU Butuan City is a 20-minute ride from Bancasi Airport, traversing Butuan
City's diversion road.
The other
campus is situated in Cabadbaran City, which offers business courses,
technology, vocational and tourism-related courses. It takes a 30-minute travel
to reach CSU Cabadbaran City from CSU Butuan City.
CSU is an ISO
9001:2015 certified higher education institution (HEI) and has recently
undergone Institutional Accreditation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered
Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).
Both campuses
sprawl in the vast land of Caraga region which is renowned for its pristine
beaches, wetlands, waterfalls, lake and other natural attractions that draw
