The School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences comprehensive online Master of Natural Resources (MNR) degree is an interdisciplinary course-based non-thesis graduate program designed for current and aspiring professionals who wish to enhance their educational credentials through distance learning and increase their knowledge and skills to develop workable solutions for complex challenges affecting the regulation and management of natural resources and implementation of environmental policy. This 30 credit hour professional degree is manageable to students of diverse academic backgrounds and busy work schedules and allows for the student to tailor the degree to their career interests and goals, including management positions in natural resource-focused government and nonprofit agencies. Our diverse curriculum trains students with the latest technologies and theories to hone their critical thinking and problem solving skills applicable to current industry and specific issues within the field of natural resource management.
