The Master in Law (Arabic) program aims in meeting the needs of the local society and providing alumni with critical knowledge and specialised and innovation skills in the Commercial Law Field to serve the society professionally. It aims in preparing alumni to practice the interpretation methods, critical analysis, probabilistic reasoning in Commercial Law, and relevant emerging legal topics. This program will promote scientific research and innovation in Commercial Law and developing the student’s skills to use scientific research methodology and ethics. It will refine the scientific capabilities and establishing an innovative climate in Commercial Law in line with professional ethics and social responsibility. This program also will develop communication skills to communicate complex information and ideas in Commercial Law and work independently in a changing context.

Admission requirements

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent from a University or College recognized by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The bachelor's degree programme should be in the same specialty as the master programme or a similar qualifying field according to the study plan; otherwise, the student should pass a number of remedial courses approved by the University and specified by the respective Department. Two recommendation letters are required. The applicant should have experience of not less than one year in a relevant professional field and also pass admission test and/or an interview to determine his/her academic level.

Prospective undergraduate students are required to provide:

  • Original Certificate & Transcript of secondary school
  • Equivalency of non – Bahraini general secondary school certificate or private school’s certificate
  • A valid CPR copy
  • A valid passport copy
  • Health fitness certificate from one the centers approved by the Ministry of Health
  • 3 personal photos

 

Tuition fees at undergraduate level are the same for local and international students. Tuition is charged by credit hour which is 92.700 BD on average.

 Students usually need an average of 135 credits to graduate. However, programs hosted by London South Bank the average credit hour is 180 BD and the average credits needed to graduate is 150 Credits.

The average tuition per credit hour for postgraduate student at ASU is 144.200 BD and the average credits needed to graduate is 36 across most of the programs.
