1. Applying language skills and vocabulary. 2. Analyzing and comparing translation texts in terms of rules, conditions, types and significance.   3. Using Arabic and foreign dictionaries and linking concepts and terminology. 4. Employing reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in the field of translation. 5. Clarifying the difference between literary types, and uncovering the diversity of literary and linguistic works. 6. Applying poems, proverbs, and communicating with the literary and linguistic bodies as individuals and institutions. 7. Communicating and working effectively as a teamwork.

Under the name "Amman Arab University for Postgraduate Studies, " Amman Arab  University was created as a private, non-profit institution focusing in postgraduate studies; to be the first Jordanian university specializing in postgraduate studies (Master's, PhD).
