The Aviation Management Specialization provides pertinent knowledge of the aviation industry and provides students with the necessary skills to fast-track their aviation careers. Grounded in cutting-edge business theory and experiential learning and directly taught by aviation professors, this MIBA program gives the students a well-rounded and hands-on exposure to the industry.
The program is based on the AUS MIBA curriculum combined with several courses in Aviation and Airport Management along with Safety, Security, and Legal issues. The curriculum links cutting-edge business theory to practical research and applications as students are guided to solve real-world challenges in the aviation industry.
Our Aviation Management professors come from the aviation industry. Through their decades of direct aviation experience, they bring personal stories, connections, and networks to a classroom, enriching the student experience.
In addition to the classroom setting, the program offers tours of aviation management points of interest, including airports, hangars, cargo centers, air traffic control centers, and many others.
