High-quality training of highly qualified specialists for the educational sphere in universities, and for domestic and foreign research centers in the field of nuclear physics. The program is aimed at the formation of a professional personality specialist who is able to: - to the critical analysis and evaluation of modern achievements, the generation of new ideas in solving research and practical problems, including in interdisciplinary areas; - to participate in the work of Kazakhstan and foreign research teams to solve scientific and scientific-educational tasks; - use modern methods and technologies of scientific communication in the state and foreign languages; - plan and solve the problems of their own professional and personal development; - independently carry out research activities in the field of nuclear physics using modern research methods and information and communication technologies; - independently develop theoretical models to study the structure and properties of atomic nuclei, nuclear reactions, the interaction of nuclei with beams of elementary particles at low intermediate and high energies, and also to reveal the role of nuclear interactions in astrophysical phenomena; - independently or as part of a research group, to develop experimental methods for the study of fission physics and nuclear fusion, in particular, the synthesis of superheavy elements, as well as mesoatoms and mesomolecular physics and muon catalysis physics; - independently or as part of a research group, design and create new experimental facilities and equipment for research in nuclear and cosmic ray physics;
