Students are required to sign a contract of professional behaviour on commencement of the award. This degree includes hands-on experience of working with patients, combined with plenty of opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in the operating theatre environment. Students will spend approximately 50% of their time in clinical practice during the course of their studies. The placements will take place at a variety of hospitals across Staffordshire and Shropshire.
