The Film major in the Faculty of Communication, Art and Technology is one of the performing and fine arts offered by the School for Contemporary Arts. This program is offered at the Vancouver campus.  The minor program focuses on theoretical, analytical, historical and critical aspects of film and video. Film is an interdisciplinary program: along with rigorous technical training and instruction in cinema studies, you will deepen your understanding of other artistic disciplines. You’ll learn by making your own films and videos, working closely with local and global instructors and professionals. These relationships turn into long-term partnerships after school, leading many grads to produce prize-winning films.
