Our program embraces a theoretical and didactic framework rooted in a systemic vision, offering students tools and learning strategies centered on problem-solving and real-world experiences, all while prioritizing environmental sustainability. Through a balanced curriculum that integrates natural and social sciences with insights into political and socioeconomic processes, as well as an understanding of complexity and territorial dynamics, students are equipped to tackle the multifaceted social and environmental challenges confronting Mexico and beyond. At the core of our program is the goal of nurturing individuals capable of: Designing, coordinating, intervening, and evaluating sustainability projects across diverse urban and rural landscapes and professional domains; Contributing to the identification and resolution of environmental issues from a socially conscious and ethically grounded perspective, rooted in the humanistic tradition of Ibero; and Generating creative and sustainable alternatives while advocating for environmental justice. Upon graduation, our students are prepared to undertake a variety of roles, including: Diagnosing environmental problems through a systemic and complexity-based approach; Designing projects, programs, strategies, and actions for sustainability, with a strong emphasis on promoting environmental justice through interdisciplinary collaboration; Managing sustainability initiatives comprehensively and integrally; Evaluating sustainability projects, programs, and strategies through an ethical lens; and Serving as leaders and catalysts for positive change, driving society toward greater justice and sustainability.
