The program is focused on preparing specialists in accordance with the modern standards of higher education and equipping them with competitive skills and values corresponding to the requirements of the local and international labor market.

The goal of the program is to provide knowledge about tourism and related functional areas, including critical understanding of complex issues, theories, and principles of tourism; to provide knowledge on the economic importance of tourism, the sectoral structure of the tourism industry, tourism policy, management, and planning.

The program aims to develop practical skills in the assessment and analysis of tourism resources and potential, formation, development, and sale of tourism products. It is also aimed at the development of skills that will help to independently identify current problems in the field of tourism and plan strategies to address them, taking into account socio-economic aspects and ethical norms.

Program entails 240 credits consisting of courses in the major field, as well as courses oriented on developing general, transferable skills.

The graduate of the bachelor’s program in tourism can be employed in various organizational-legal institutions of the tourism sector, hold administrative positions at small and medium-sized structural subdivisions, tourism companies, hotel industry, regional and local self-government units, tourism information centers, hotel business consulting companies, associations in the tourism industry, etc.
