The Department of English Language and Translation, as one of the departments of the College of Arabic Language and Social Studies, is committed to serving the community and providing advanced education in the fields of theoretical linguistics, applied linguistics and translation to prepare graduates with a high level of translation, literature, conversation and teaching to meet the needs of the labor market through the two tracks of its program: English language and translation and English language and literature, rather than diversifying courses with the aim of enhancing translation, listening, speaking and written essay skills. Our graduate programs offer specialization courses in scientific knowledge in the Theoretical Linguistics and Applied Linguistics of English programs.
