The Master in Auditing (MSc) is aimed at employees of auditing companies who want to prepare for the WP exam and the profession of auditor while working. By interlinking theory and practice, it represents a decisive step on the way to a career as an auditor. The aim of the initiative is to promote a new generation of auditors with the best preparation for the demanding WP exam. This includes the course being designed in accordance with § 8a WPO in such a way that three of the examinations completed during the course can be recognized as part of the seven examinations to be completed in the public accountant exam.

A passed final examination in a course of study lasting at least six semesters at a university in Germany or an equivalent final examination abroad.

Knowledge of English that allows you to process English-language specialist literature without restrictions, to successfully participate in English-language courses and to create written work and hold presentations in English. 

Students must also meet the following requirements:

  • According to § 3 No. 1 WPAnrV, three months of activity according to § 9 Para. 1 WPO and a further three months of examination work according to § 9 Para
  • according to § 3 No. 2 WPAnrV the passing of an entrance examination, which takes account of audit-relevant parts. The examination is regulated in the statutes on the entrance examination for the Master in Auditing.
  • The willingness of the employer to release the employee to the extent necessary for the desired course of study.

If your secondary school leaving certificate does not meet the requirements for direct entry into German university set forth by the Ministry of Education, you have the opportunity to apply to our Pre-University Foundation Programme. Upon successful completion of the foundation course, you will be eligible to pursue your bachelor’s degree at Frankfurt School.
