About The University of Northampton
Located in an ancient market town steeped in the social, political and industrial history of the nation, the University of Northampton is actually one of the UK’s youngest universities.
Since its establishment, it’s been rapidly building a reputation for its innovative teaching with a long-standing reputation amongst students for supportive, high quality teaching. We use technology to shift our focus onto the development of in-depth understanding and the application of knowledge and skills. This means you will benefit from meaningful interactions with tutors in seminars, tutorials and workshops, rather than being talked at in lecture theatres.
By harnessing novel technologies that inject interest and introduce flexibility into the theoretical practices of learning, the university has made its students able to study and work wherever they want, whenever they want, with whoever they want. As a result, seminars and workshops deliver a deeper, more meaningful relationship with lecturers and professors, more time to explore, challenge and question, whilst leaving space and time for individual support, advice and guidance.
With that, the University of Northampton is proud to offer a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs across three faculties: Faculty of Business and Law, Faculty of Arts, Science and Technology and Faculty of Health, Education and Society.
