Against a backdrop of stunning architecture in the creative heart of South-East London, Trinity Laban is where change happens.  Drawn from diverse communities in the UK and around the world, our Undergraduate students are united by their drive, passion and innovative spirit. Our world-leading performing arts training is designed to develop individual artists who not only have excellent techincal skills but also the creative, innovative and entrepunerial drive to succeed in their professional careers. We don’t train our students to fit the mould, we give them the tools to break it.

Foundation Programmes

Designed to support students to access undergraduate level programmes, our Foundation courses provide foundational training in our artforms, and can also be taken by students needing to improve their language skills before starting their degree.

Undergraduate Programmes

Our students learn their craft through practice, spending much of their time in small groups, or individually with our teachers, honing their technique and preparing for the many performance opportunities that they will participate in during their studies. Our teachers are working musicians, dancers and musical theatre performers, allowing students to start building their professional networks in the London arts scene as they study.

Dance at Trinity Laban will challenge you to defy convention and allow you to share your unique perspective. All MA/MSc students follow one year of study, with an optional second year of extended research leading to an MFA.

Musical Theatre

You will develop industry relevant skills and techniques, while discovering how arts-based practice can instigate positive social change within communities and through developing new audiences.

Research

We are a community of cultural change makers and artists. Our teaching staff develop innovative, collaborative research projects which aim to push the boundaries of their art forms and promote the development of new artistic media.

We support a broad range of research-based activity including choreography, composition, performance, pedagogy, performance design and performance science and encourage diverse perspectives that will challenge the status quo.
