The University of Tampa

Offering more than 200 programs of study, the University of Tampa’s most popular subjects of study include biology, communication, criminology, entrepreneurship, finance, international business, marine science, marketing, nursing, psychology and sport management.

An associate member of the European Council of International Schools, the University of Tampa offers an extensive range of international study abroad options. 15 percent of the university’s student body (which totals approximately 9,000 people) are classed as international. Students from Florida make up about half of the student body, while many others come from northern and north-eastern US states.

While the university campus is fairly modest in size, the range of available facilities for students is impressive. The university library has a collection of over 275,000 books, while there are about 50 computer labs across campus. There is also a new Fitness and Recreation Center, which features six exercise rooms, and an aquatics center with a swimming pool.
