Pass HNC in a relevant subject with Grade B in the graded unit.
Must include passes in the modules Mathematics for Construction (SCQF Level 6) and Maths for Civil Engineering (SCQF Level 7).

Minimum Year 3 Entry Requirement

HND
Pass HND in a relevant subject with Grade B at SCQF Level 8 in all graded units.
Must include passes in the modules Maths for Construction (SCQF Level 6), Maths for Civil Engineering (SCQF Level 7) and Applied Maths for Civil Engineering (SCQF Level 8).

Irish Ordinary Degree
Pass in a relevant subject with 50% at first sitting in all final year subjects.

DUT
Pass DUT in a relevant subject with overall grade 12 to include English at grade 11 in the final year of studies.

            Our research

            From the future of refugee housing to post-traumatic stress disorder, Edinburgh Napier's research shapes the world around us. More than half of our research submitted was rated either “world-leading” or “internationally excellent” in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF).

                In 2015, we were awarded the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for the second time for our internationally-acclaimed work in timber engineering, sustainable construction and wood science.  This is the most prestigious award for the UK higher education sector for the impact of research on business, industry, environment and society – nationally and internationally. This was the second triumph for our School of Engineering & the Built Environment following a previous success in 2009.
