Domus Academy began its activity in 1982 in Milan as one of the first post-graduate design schools in Italy and was conceived as an open project around the experience of Italian design and fashion.

Domus Academy is a place where the designers of the future can experience an open and interdisciplinary environment, working with visionary and avant-garde companies. Following the method based on learning by designing, students develop a mindset that allows them to find creative solutions in future scenarios. BVA Doxa 2023 Survey, aimed to explore the career trajectories of Domus Academy recent graduates, revealed an employment rate of 96%* within the first year following graduation registering also a job satisfaction rate of 88%.

The academic offering consists of 11 Academic Master’s Programmes recognized by MUR (Italian Ministry of University and Research) covering four main areas: Design, Fashion, Experience and Business. From September 2021, the educational opportunities expanded with the Double Award Master allowing students to receive a Master of Arts with British accreditation too. Answering to the rising trends and market needs, Domus Academy has just launched 2-year Master of Arts programmes: MA in Design Innovation and MA in Fashion: Design, Art & Technology.

At Domus Academy, students could choose between three different degree paths:

1. ACADEMIC MASTER PROGRAMMES  (60 ECTS credits) accredited by the Italian Ministry for University and Research (MUR)

2. DOUBLE AWARD MASTER'S PROGRAMMES. Students can extend their Academic Master Programme path and earn, in addition to the Academic Master Degree, a UK validated Master of Arts Degree (90 ECTS/180 UK CREDITS) issued by Regents’ University London.

3. MASTER OF ARTS PPROGRAMMES in Design Innovation and in Fashion: Design, Art and Technology

*Considering the ratio between total number of employed and total number of graduates in the same year (not considering alumni that have pursued their academic path and the ones not looking for any job).
