Robinson’s Master of International Business reflects global market demands and responds to emerging trends, all while preparing students for success in the international business landscape.
Students can choose between the following three tracks:
  • Global Management Consultancy
  • Global Supply Chain & Logistics
  • Entrepreneurship & Innovation
Through frequent site visits, students build knowledge aligning with their chosen academic tracks. For example, global supply chain and logistics students may observe behind-the-scenes operations at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport freight and cargo terminal as well as the Port of Savannah. Entrepreneurship and innovation students may tour Curiosity Lab at Peachtree Corners, a 500-acre technology park as well as Three Ring Studio, a campus housing tenants from the media, film, and television industries. Global management consultancy students may travel to Chattanooga, Tennessee, to visit Kordsa, a global manufacturing plant that develops reinforcement technologies for the tires of automobiles, airplanes, and motorcycles as well as agricultural and industrial vehicles.

The largest business school in the South and part of a major research institution, Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business has 200 faculty, 8,000 students and 75,000 alumni. With programs on five continents and students from 88 countries, the college is world-class and worldwide. Its part-time MBA is ranked among the best by Bloomberg Businessweek and U.S. News & World Report, and its Executive MBA is on the Financial Times list of the world's premier programs. Located in Atlanta, the Robinson College and Georgia State have produced more of Georgia's top executives with graduate degrees than any other school in the Southeast. In addition to the Global Partners MBA, the Robinson College offers the Executive, Flexible and Professional MBA as well as specialized master’s programs which include ten (10) One Year Master of Science Programs. Its Executive MBA, a 17-month program for professionals with at least seven years’ experience which includes an international residency, is in the Financial Times top 100 EMBA rankings. The at-your-own-pace Flexible MBA—for those with at least one year of work experience—and the 24-month cohort-format Professional MBA—for those with a minimum of four years’ experience.

Robinson College of Business offers specialized master’s programs, including degrees in analytics, finance, managerial science, mathematical risk management, marketing and international business. The college was included in the 2018 edition of the QS Business Master’s Ranking.

The college aims to graduate students who can tackle real-world issues, and its master’s in analytics is unique in that half of students’ learning will be outside the classroom, as students take part in “Insight Sprints”, in which they work in teams to find solutions to business problems using the knowledge they’ve gained on the course. Students of the finance degree benefit from official mentors from the Financial Leadership Network and CFO Council who are leaders in international, national and local businesses.

The ideal candidate for the analytics course will have an undergraduate degree in a technical subject such as mathematics, computer science, engineering or economics, and relevant professional experience is preferred but not essential. When you apply, you’ll need to complete a video interview and pay the $50 application fee.
