Today more than ever we are experiencing first-hand the dynamics that are shaking the post-cold war world geopolitical order. The wars that have followed 9/11 and the so-called Arab springs have determined a change in the international panorama that has caused numerous crises. Today Europe has to respond in person to the biggest call for solidarity since the end of the Second World War. Added to this is the tail end of an economic crisis that still does not seem to give way to a new context of growth nor to a new social/economic paradigm. However, these multiple crises have not been able to with solidarity. Moreover, new forms of solidarity are beginning to take shape in recent times.
The Master of Permanent Training in International Solidarity Action and Social Inclusion with eighteen editions developed in the previous courses has adapted its contents. It offers updated training for this course, adapted to new needs, comprehensive, theoretical-practical and of quality, aimed at all those who want to dedicate themselves professionally to solidarity and/or improve their technical training to intervene in processes of change and transformation. both in Spain, in other European countries or in the countries of the South.
The Master, which is organized by the "Francisco de Vitoria" Institute of International and European Studies of the Carlos III University of Madrid, in collaboration with the Spanish Red Cross, the Spanish Commission for Refugee Aid and CIDEAL, offers training tools and provides learning skills to intervene both internationally and domestically. It also has more than one hundred agreements with collaborating institutions that guarantee professional internships and excellent levels of job placement for our students.
The Master's Degree in Permanent Training in International Solidarity Action and Social Inclusion is much more than a Master's Degree in Cooperation since it offers, as a unique postgraduate training proposal, a comprehensive vision of solidarity that pivots on four specific sectors:
A) International cooperation for development of course B) Migration, asylum and attention to refugees C) Intervention in contexts of crisis, catastrophes, disasters and conflicts from humanitarian action and finally D) Social inclusion and the protection of vulnerable individuals and groups at risk or in a situation of exclusion as a result of the economic crisis of our time.
