This year’s ranking of the top universities in Latin America sees relatively little movement towards the top of the table, with only one new entrant in the top 10: the Universidad Nacional de Colombia has climbed one place from 11th to 10th. Topping the table once again is the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (UC).

Ahead of this year’s Latin American ranking, we also launched the QS University Rankings by Location 2019, featuring separate tables for the top universities in Mexico, as well as mainland China, India, South Korea and Japan.

This year’s rankings has been constructed using eight different indicators, including academic and employer reputation. More information about the methodology can be found here.
