QS University Rankings EECA 2020
Discover the top universities from emerging Europe and central Asia with the QS EECA University Rankings 2020.
Russian universities continue to be the most impressive performers in this year’s ranking of the top universities within emerging European and central Asian study destinations. Once more, the top three in our ranking are all from Russia, although this year sees the Saint-Petersburg State University climb above Novosibirsk State University into second place.
Estonia, Czech Republic and Poland are also represented in this year’s top 10, while Turkey, Kazakhstan and Lithuania all have at least one university in the top 20.
10 different indicators have all been assessed for this year’s ranking, including academic and employer reputation and the research impact of each university. For more information, consult our methodology.
