QS University Rankings EECA 2019
Discover the top universities from emerging Europe and central Asia with the QS EECA University Rankings 2019.
This year’s ranking of the top universities from emerging European and central Asian study destinations is once again topped by Lomonosov Moscow State University, the oldest university in Russia. Two other Russian institutions are in this year’s top five, while a further two are in the rest of the top 20.
As well as Russia, 24 other locations are represented in this year’s ranking, including Poland which has two entrants in the top 10. One of these is one of the biggest climbers towards the top of the ranking: Jagiellonian University has climbed seven places to seventh this year.
10 different indicators have all been assessed for this year’s ranking, including academic and employer reputation and the research impact of each university. More information about the methodology can be found here.
