Ural Federal University - UrFU

Ural Federal University (UrFU) is one of the leading and largest universities of Russia, established in 1920. The university is located in Ekaterinburg — the 4th largest city in Russia with a population of 1.5 million, the capital of 2023 FISU World University Games. Ekaterinburg is a major economic, industrial, scientific and cultural hub on the border between Europe and Asia.

Ural Federal University is the project office of the world-class Ural Interregional Research and Education Center (UIREC) "Advanced Industrial Technologies and Materials" aimed at successful completion of the “Science” National Project. UrFU is a federal innovation platform bringing together fundamental education and innovative approach and is continuously improving its position on the world stage. 

Ural Federal University offers more than 460 Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral (PhD) degree programs in natural sciences, engineering, social sciences and humanities in Russian and English. Study for free with a Russian Government Scholarship Every year the Russian government offers grants to international citizens for study in Russia, covering tuition fees, monthly scholarship, accommodation.
