Located in the Japanese city of Hwaseong, the University of Suwon has been featured in the QS Asia University Rankings as one of the top universities in the region. Established in 1977, the university initially had a class of just 250 students but today the university has over 12,000 students enrolled with the overwhelming majority studying at undergraduate level. There are 10 undergraduate schools in total, with teaching covering a wide range of subjects from theater to polymer engineering.
