Found in the state of Indiana, the University of Evansville focuses on liberal arts and science degrees. The university is organized into three colleges and two schools, covering arts & sciences, education & health sciences, engineering & computer science, and business administration. More than 80 different majors are offered in total.
Approximately 2,500 students are enrolled at the University of Evansville. Over 80 percent of the university’s students study abroad, either at the university’s satellite center - Harlaxton College in England - or through one of the 200 study abroad programs run by the university. International students make up 16 percent of the total student body.
The university is particularly notable for its theater department which puts on four main productions a year. Notable actors to have graduated from the University of Evansville include 30 Rock star Jack McBrayer, and Rami Malek, who won an Academy Award for his performance as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody.
