The teaching method adopted provides for the horizontal and vertical integration of knowledge through teaching based on a solid cultural and methodological basis achieved both in the study of the disciplines and with the various practical and laboratory activities, centered on the ability to face practical problems and apply knowledge and skills.
The course makes use of a founding relationship of collaboration and training with the Espresso Group - Digital Division. With a highly interdisciplinary structure, we intend to offer an adequate mastery of culture, problems and communication possibilities, taking into account a global context characterized by constant technological transformation and the presence of digital media in everyday life. The training course aims to provide communication, technological, computer science and linguistics in order to provide a solid basis for the "digital communicator". The course prepares for the basic professions of communication that concern the traditional media sector, such as the so-called “new media”, public administration, the cultural industry, companies and services; moreover, it constitutes the basis for in-depth studies entrusted to master's or master's degrees on communication in various operating sectors.
Considering the three-year course of the Degree Course in Communication, Technologies and Digital Cultures, the learning areas identified are a total of four and jointly contribute to the achievement of the educational objectives:
