The Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin, Ireland, is one of Europe's oldest and most distinguished music conservatoires. It is located is a Georgian building of outstanding beauty in the heart of the capital city. RIAM offers Bachelor, Master and Doctoral programmes in music performance to a small cohort of 175 students. RIAM students received the highest level of one to one tuition in Europe, two hours a week with principal study teachers. As an associate college of Trinity College Dublin, RIAM's students have access both to a small conservatoire environment and to the larger university experience of societies gym, student supports and clubs.
RIAM's graduates have gone on to success in international competitions and in opera houses and orchestras all over the world. Still more have made their contribution in the wider fields of chamber music, teaching, arts leadership and cultural activism. The small class and bespoke nature of our programmes ensures that each of our students can direct their own studies and emerge as confident and unique performing artists.
