Notably, the university received formal approval from Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) on 31st October 2011. Raffles University is the University of the Future. We are at the cutting edge of higher education in both teaching and learning and business practices. Our innovative and stimulating programmes promote – Doing while Learning and Learning while Doing . Raffles University will be a first of its kind, Asian-based Malaysian university that prides itself as a practice-oriented university with intensive curricula and practical hands-on experiences that give students maximum preparation for future careers.

To further incentivize participation, we have introduced the Professional Development Skill (PDS), which awards merit points to students engaging in extracurricular activities. Those meeting the minimum merit points receive a certificate upon completing their studies. The Centre of Professional Development (CPD) department is dedicated to guiding students into the industry seamlessly through projects, professional attachments, industry research, exhibitions, workshops, seminars, and career development. CPD assists Raffles students to seek for their Professional Attachment (internship) opportunity. CPD will provide internship briefing and sharing sessions for the students before beginning the stages of the internship. CPD will also guide them until the students finish their internship.
With the intricate knowledge of the industry, we are able to maximise our training to ensure a constant flow of competent professionals into the industry.
