  • Providing Sharia education, which is academically accredited and distinguished by research that combines originality and modernity; To prepare qualified competencies in Islamic studies, knowledgeably and skillfully, using the latest scientific and technical methods, to meet the needs of society and its relevant institutions.

Program Goals

1- Providing the student with comprehensive and integrated knowledge and basic theories in the fields of Islamic studies and related sciences, which is achieved by the following:

  • Providing the student with concepts and theories related to the sciences of faith, the Qur’an and Sunnah, Islamic culture and related sciences.
  • Enabling the student to know the methods of analyzing texts related to faith, the Qur’an, Sunnah, and Islamic culture.
  • Enabling students to know the methods and means of preparing reports and studies in the field of Islamic studies.
  • There is a continuous update of knowledge related to Islamic studies.


2 - Enabling the student to apply cognitive skills at different levels and types in the field of Islamic studies, and this is achieved by the following:   

  • Identifying problematic issues in the sciences of creed, interpretation, Sunnah, and Islamic culture that require, in their solution and understanding, the application of critical thinking, problem-solving, and weighting skills.
  • Providing students with good characteristics of measurement and performance evaluation processes and providing information in the fields of Islamic studies.


3       Developing the student's personal and social responsibility, promoting the values ​​and ethics associated with the work environment, and enabling the student to play effective roles in collective situations and actions, and this is achieved by the following:

  •  Spreading the culture of working as a team among students and the need to adapt to changing information.
  • Providing students with the knowledge related to the ethics and ethics of teamwork.
  • Enabling students to identify the personal and social responsibility placed on students majoring in Islamic studies.
  • Studying the nature of the relationship between the Islamic studies specialization and the legal and non-legitimate disciplines.


4 - Developing the student's ability to use verbal and written communication methods in areas related to Islamic studies, and this is achieved by the following:

  •  Providing students with knowledge related to effective and sufficient means of communication processes in the field of Islamic Studies
  • Using computer programs and technology to access knowledge and achieve good communication in the field of Islamic studies.

5 - Providing the student with the skills of using information technology with the ability to employ it in issues and research in the field of Islamic studies, and this is achieved by the following:

  •  Supporting courses on how to use information technology to increase the ability to solve issues, clarify legal rulings, and provide solutions in issues related to the specialization of Islamic studies.
  • Increasing students' ability to interpret and analyze the results reached through the use of information technology methods.


6 - Achieving the student's ability to employ mathematical operations in the Islamic Studies major, and this is achieved by the following:


  • Enabling the student to employ some mathematical operations in legal issues in the subjects of zakat, financial transactions and inheritance.
