Interest in the correct determination of transfer prices is growing, both on the part of taxpayers, collectors and other control bodies. This interest becomes imperative and of radical importance in the current context where each country requires the highest collection to face the ravages that the current pandemic is producing.

Objectives

  • Understand the spirit of the arm's length standard, the guiding principle of transfer pricing rules, and the status that standard has in current transfer pricing discussions.
  • Learn about the transfer pricing rules applicable in the region and the most current global trends in the matter.
  • Gain practical knowledge on the preparation of transfer pricing studies, affidavits and other formalities in Argentina.
  • Understand the basic technical and methodological elements essential to carry out the economic analysis of a transfer pricing study, collecting the current situation imposed by Covid-19.
  • Receive an eminently practical approach to conventional transfer pricing approaches for the most common types of transactions.
  • Understand the interaction and differences between transfer pricing rules and customs valuation methods.
  • You can identify the risks associated with managing transfer pricing and the benefits of proper tax planning.
  • Be able to identify opportunities for improvement in a transfer pricing structure, as well as objectionable aspects by the tax authority.
  • Become familiar with the most relevant transfer pricing jurisprudence in Argentina and with modern approaches to resolving complex disputes in this matter.
  • Obtain a certificate of attendance to the "Transfer Pricing Program", as long as you meet the requirements of: (i) class attendance (75%) and (ii) approval of two practical assignments / reading controls.

Methodology

The program will consist of sixteen theoretical-practical classes with the use of the case method and the completion of an optional final application work. Participants will have the class material before each meeting. The participation of the attendees and the contribution of their experiences will be promoted.
