The major Business Analysis and Performance Management (BUS) gives you insights into value creation and sustainability in firms and organisations from a business analysis and operations management perspective.

If your career goals include positions such as controller, consultant, operations manager, chief financial officer or other leadership positions in large organisations (such as chief operation officer or chief executive officer), then BUS will provide a solid foundation for your future career.

The BUS major gives you a good understanding of how to analyse and manage performance in firms and organisations. The courses will prepare you take informed decisions to enhance the value creation in your organisation.

The major strives to provide a balance between Norwegian and international context so that students have a solid understanding of the national environment and are prepared for international careers and challenges.

The major is well suited for students who wish to work within accounting and finance departments and consulting firms.

With an MScEBA from NHH you are qualified for a wide variety of jobs in different sectors of the economy. You also have a good foundation for future studies at the PhD level.

NHH offers two Bachelor programmes:

- The English taught Bachelor in Business, Economics & Data Science (BEDS

- The Norwegian taught Bachelor in Economics & Business Administration (BØA

Both programmes have a nominal duration of three years.

NHH presents a comprehensive selection of 10 distinctive graduate programmes, each structured with an approximate two-year study span. Among these, nine are master specializations, all conducted in English, ultimately culminating in the prestigious MSc in Economics & Business Administration (MScEBA) degree.

Distinguished from the rest, our remaining graduate study pathway fuses the MScEBA at NHH with a rigorous Master's in International Management programme available through CEMS – a Global Alliance that unites premier business schools, multinational corporations, and non-governmental organizations.


MScEBA:

The Master programme in Economics & Business Administration is a two-year programme (120 ECTS) and is structured as follows:

  • Courses - 90 ECTS (45 ECTS major courses + 45 ECTS elective courses)
  • Master thesis - 30 ECTS
