Scholarships

Selecting the right scholarship can be a daunting process. With countless options available, students often find themselves overwhelmed and confused. The decision can be especially stressful for those facing financial constraints or pursuing specific academic or career goals.

To help students navigate this challenging process, we recommend the following articles:

Employability

We’re ranked in the World Top 90 for employer reputation (QS World University Rankings 2024) with a 5 QS Star rating for employability (2023).

Our students go on to accomplish great things, working for national and international employers such as Siemens, Dyson, IBM, NHS, PwC, Deloitte, EY and Accenture.

We know how to prepare you for your future career. Our Careers Service will support you while you’re studying with us and for up to three years after you graduate.

You’ll be guided to plan your career, supported to find placements, internships or work experience, and learn how to market your skills, experience, and prepare for interviews.
Through our skills initiatives ncl + Award and our Graduate Framework you’ll identify and develop the key skills employers are looking for. You’ll also network with employers at our high-profile recruitment fairs, employer and sector insight events.

Whether you’re looking for part-time work while you study, or a graduate job, we can help. We advertised over 4,600 placement vacancies and graduate jobs through our bespoke interactive platform MyCareer (2021-2022).

Our International Student Pathway supports international students to explore the UK jobs market or find a job in their home country. Our China Career Gateway programme prepares our Chinese students for both the UK and Chinese job markets.

We provide tailored support for neurodiverse and disabled students and graduates including adjusted access to events and advice on recruitment and workplace adjustments.

We can also help you grow an independent career or – through our START-UP programme and Founderships initiative – launch your own business. We’ve already helped over 200 businesses to start trading.

Targeted postgraduate support includes one-to-one application support, interview coaching, specialist online resources and careers workshops.
