Due to the values of human-oriented, customization and diverse development, Transdisciplinary Program in College of Education encourages transdisciplinary learnings. Students enroll as non-majors during their first two undergraduate years. Based on learner- centered implementation, students are requisite of being familiar with basic theories in education. After one-and-half-year or two-year non-major program, students are expected to apply for their majors, including Education, Educational Psychology and Counseling, Adult & Continuing Education, Health Promotion and Health Education, Civic Education and Leadership, Child & Family Science, and Learning Sciences, at the first or second semester of the sophomore year. Moreover, students can declare a minor or claim double major at the second semester of each academic year. Through their full-scale professional learnings at the freshman and sophomore year as non-majors, followed by two more years of advanced studies at those six departments and one program in College of Education, students can develop multifaceted professional expertise and competence to pursue further higher learnings as well as promising jobs in the future.
