At London Met, we invest in you. The University boasts state-of-the-art learning, library and IT facilities where you can hone your skills – from a mock courtroom, purpose-built art, design and recording studios to a £100,000 journalism newsroom and our £30 million Science Centre, which is one of the largest science teaching labs in Europe.
We also offer you fantastic support services. At London Met, we put our students at the centre of all we do. We can help you with accommodation, funding and general career advice. We also offer disability and dyslexia support and an on-site counselling service. Our support services are designed to ensure that you receive all the guidance you can during your time with us. In addition, we have school offices at each of our campuses. This is the first place to go with any questions or queries you may have about your studies or time at University.

London Met has great places to socialise, eat and study, and they work hard to en sure you have everything you need for your time on campus
The Rocket
On Holloway Road, The Rocket is an entertainment venue which has Wi-Fi, pool tables, microwaves, and board games available. You can also grab there a coffee, pastr y or a snack throughout the day.
In the evenings The Rocket hosts events including annual summer party and regular club nights, gigs, society activities, movie nights and charity events. Some even take place in the c our tyard garden during the warmer months of the year . Students are enc our age d to use social media to suggest fun nights that could be hosted at the University. In previous years, there had been special appearances from the likes of Tinie Tempah, Roll Deep, Jodie Connor and Hotsteppa .
Clubs and societies
The Student Union ( SU ) has a large number of sports clubs and societies, and welcomes requests to start a new club that is not yet running. They will support you in this process as much as possible . With such diverse clubs and societies, you’ll find all of y our interests catered to. SU also runs their own magazine and radio, and students are enc our aged to participate in bringing them to life
Study areas
London Met provides you with a wide range of spaces for studying and leisure . You’ll find cosy sofas nestled off corridors, and in the Holloway Road Graduate Centre. At Aldgate there are several spaces to provide even more comfortable places to socialise with your friends. Also the libraries are furnished with seating , microwaves and group work areas.
Cafés and eateries
On London Met’s campuses you'll find a selection of food and drink to keep your brain fuelled in the morning, at lunchtime or before evening classes . Each campus has their own caterers who offer deli-style food. This includes the Highbury Canteen at the Holloway campus, while at the Aldgate campus artisanal food and refreshments are on offer in the Atrium. As London Met is located in the heart of London, there are also numerous food outlets and restaurants offering international cuisines nearby each campus.
Sports facilities
The gym is based at Holloway campus with an exercise room at Aldgate. Gym m embership and a selection of classes are free to the students. There are also a few sports societies run by the Student Union, such as an archery class.
The University careers team offers a range of services to support you with career planning whilst you are studying and for up to three years after graduation.
Starting a business when you finish university is a great way to take control of your future – and our business incubator that provides you with all the advice, support, networks, knowledge and resources you need to get started up to five years after your graduation.

Yes, we offer a wide range of scholarships for both UK and International bachelor's and master's students that vary in value. You can see a list of all the scholarships we offer, along with information on external funding sources, tuition fees, accommodation and living costs, and student budgeting on our website. Funding your studies.
International Bright Futures Scholarship - all full-time international fee-paying students receive a £3,000 scholarship if they are successful with their application to London Met. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
EU Transition Scholarships – The EU Transition Scholarship will automatically be applied to eligible EU students with overseas fee status starting a degree at London Met in January 2024. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
No, there’s no fee when you apply for a degree at London Met, however, if you require a visa to study in the UK you may need to pay a tuition fee deposit before we can issue your Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) number, which you will need for your visa. The deposit doesn’t need to be paid until after you have met all your academic and language conditions and accepted an offer to study with us.
Non-EU applicants applying to study full-time may choose to apply via the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) or apply directly to the University. If you're wanting to study part-time you should apply directly to the University. Apply for your chosen course by visiting the relevant course page.
